Step aboard the Lady Diana, Mark Twain or The Jackie for a two-hour cruise that’s a real treat. Get comfortable and enjoy a drink from the bar as you glide through rural Cheshire, along the beautiful River Dee.
Please note that tickets are not refundable. If you can’t make your cruise please let us know, and we’d be happy to transfer your booking to another date. Please take a look at our full Terms & Conditions.
From our moorings on The Groves in Chester, we head southwards. We’ll pass some spectacular riverside homes and gardens, and make our way out of the city limits and into leafy countryside. Upstream of the city, the River Dee meanders through the Eaton Estate, the ancestral home of the Duke of Westminster. We make our turn at the picturesque Aldford Iron Bridge.
This is a very tranquil stretch of the Dee with opportunities to spot wildlife, including swans, herons, cormorants, moorhens and – if your eyes are sharp – a kingfisher or two, so keep your camera ready! An informative sightseeing commentary will share interesting facts and stories about the river and its surroundings.
There is a fully stocked bar onboard, in case you would like to enjoy a hot or cold drink as we make our way upstream. You are more than welcome to bring a picnic with you to eat onboard, but please note that alcohol must be purchased from the onboard bar.
To avoid disappointment, please book ahead online or by phone for the Two-hour Iron Bridge Cruise. Cruises can sell out, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee a spot for you without a ticket or reservation.
Travelling with kids? Why not try the the Half-Hour City Cruise – it’s just right to keep younger kids entertained.
Before taking a cruise with us, please ensure that you read our Terms & Conditions of Carriage. We want all of our passengers to enjoy their cruise in a safe environment. Thank you.
