Sail in style and comfort
A private picnic boat cruise is the perfect way to take in the sights of the river as a small group.
Sit back and relax as we head upstream from The Groves in Chester, out into the tranquil Cheshire countryside.
Bonkie is ideal for special days such as anniversaries, birthdays, proposals – or simply a way for you and your family to relax and enjoy the river together in prviacy.
Please note that the boat is unheated with limited shelter (ideal for the summer months) and there is no wheelchair access. Toilet facilities are available at our moorings.

A picnic boat cruise is £250 for a 90-minute cruise or £200 for a one-hour cruise, but we’ll occasionally have some offers on last minute availability – just click the button below to browse dates and prices.
Pack your own picnic, or pick up something special from one of Chester’s many eateries on your way down to the river. You can bring your own drinks and pop them in our handy onboard fridge, and we’ll provide the ice and glasses, or just let us know if you’d like drinks waiting for you when you arrive.
