Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
Spoil Mum this Mother’s Day with a delicious afternoon tea and River Dee cruise. We’ll keep the tea and coffee flowing while you enjoy freshly made sandwiches, scones, and other sweet treats, set against the backdrop of the beautiful river and leafy Cheshire countryside.
Sailing at 12PM and 3PM on Sunday 15th March 2026. Booking essential.

Your ticket includes:
• A two-hour round trip cruise from The Groves in Chester
• Afternoon tea (served in individual takeaway boxes) including sandwiches, sausage roll, scone with cream and jam, and cakes
• Refillable tea and coffee (served with crockery)
• A glass of prosecco for the adults and a soft drink for kids
• A little chocolate treat for every Mum onboard!
Ticket prices:
Adult – £33.00
Child under 18 – £19.00
Young children with no catering (recommended under 5) – FREE but they do need to book
More important info
– Please note that tickets are not refundable or transferrable once booked.
– There are 2 toilets onboard but no baby change facilities. The closest baby change facilities are in the public toilets by the Bandstand.
– Prams/pushchairs can be stored onboard if they can be fully collapsed.
– Please note that just one portion size is served for all bookings, but you are more than welcome to take any leftovers away with you to enjoy later.
– Tea & coffee is included, and a fully stocked bar is available onboard if you would like any other drinks during the cruise.
– We can accommodate dietary requirements only if made aware in advance of the cruise. Please either enter your dietary requirements at the time of booking, or let us know by email no later than 9th March.
