A wedding venue with a difference
This last weekend we were lucky enough to welcome aboard the Mark Twain a very happy couple and their family and friends in celebration of their wedding.
We have been busy planning their wedding cruise and getting to know the two of them for around a year now and it was a pleasure to help deliver a celebration to remember.
The upper deck of the Mark Twain was transformed from its usual ‘Sightseeing Cruise’ mode to accommodate a banqueting table for all 30 guests to enjoy their wedding breakfast, lovingly prepared and served by ‘A Catered Affair’.
Our bride had spent a lot of time designing her own drapes for the upper deck windows as well as all of the various table runners and decorations. The Mark Twain was completely transformed and really lived up to our belief that it, along with the Lady Diana and the Jackie, offer a truly unique wedding venue and wedding experience here in Chester and Cheshire.
The sun was shining as the guests were welcomed aboard with a glass of champagne and the elements were kind for most of the cruise. Even a brief shower late on couldn’t dampen the mood of the guests and all onboard remained nice and dry while they danced away for the remainder of the cruise.
